Happy 8 months Mr. Magoo!

Liam is 8 months old! He has grown so much and is learning so many new things! We were finally able to take him to a doctor again so we actually know his stats!

Weight: 19 lbs 6oz
Height: 27 1/4 inches

- Liam is our smiley boy! He gives everyone a smile. Whenever someone talks to him his face lights up and he gives the biggest smile to them!

- Liam is pulling himself up on everything! He doesn't want to crawl. I think he's determined to just start walking. He army crawls just about everywhere but sometimes he does this weird thing where he sits up and then slides on his bottom...weirdo. Then he just stands up on whatever is nearby.

- He is Daniel's shadow. He follows him around everywhere and wants to do everything he does. Daniel doesn't always appreciate this but its ok for the most part.

- Liam is eating solids really well and I am counting the days until we can be done with the bottle. He eats his veggies and cereal well and is going to start fruit soon.

- He is still swaddled when he sleeps but I think we're going to be done with these soon because he is starting to break free. Most mornings we find him unswaddled and just crawling around his crib. I'm hanging onto it as long as I can though. At least he is still napping well and sleeping well at night.

- He loves bath time! He is just sitting in the tub now since he's so good at sitting up. Its one of the only times that Dan and Liam don't take toys from each other so I really love bath time :)

Life lately

Since it has been so cold and we only have one car, the boys and I have been stuck inside a lot. Daniel and Liam have developed a very interesting relationship from this. Daniel has never wanted to hold Liam and he doesn't usually like for Liam to touch him. Lately though Dan has been getting more used to Liam and the two of them are starting to play together. Dan is even starting to hold Liam and let him crawl on him. Its been so much fun to watch them start to play together more. Liam loves Daniel! He laughs and laughs at everything Dan does.

Daniel loves to help and especially loves to be in the kitchen. Anytime we go in the kitchen Dan says "Daniel watch" and goes and gets the stool. He's pretty good about not touching the stove. Then while he's watching he always asks for a bite of whatever is cooking.

Daniel has so much energy. He wears me out everyday and doesn't usually stop for long. Sometimes though he is so sweet and wants to snuggle. One night he brought his pillow and blanket from his bed to the couch and covered me up and then said to lay down and then snuggled next to me. Sometimes he is just really sweet.

Merry Christmas

 Merry Christmas!

This year Mike got his Christmas wish. We woke up to a white Christmas this year. Since Christmas was on a Sunday this year, we woke up and got all of us ready for church and then drove slowly to church. It was really nice starting our day by going to church and celebrating the birth of the Savior.

After church we came home and put our pajamas back on because you can't open presents in normal clothes. We also got to have the traditional epperson Christmas breakfast of waffles with strawberries and ice cream. Daniel actually loved it this year!

Last year Daniel didn't have a lot of interest in opening presents. He would scream every time we handed him a present. This year was completely different! Daniel was so excited about all of it. He loved doing his presents and helping Liam open his. It took a while to get through everything because every time Dan opened something he wanted to open it to play with it. He had a great Christmas! His grandparents all took very good care of him and got him lots of fun toys and books and clothes :)

Liam loved the wrapping paper and the bows. His favorite toy all day was the present from Uncle Doug. We had fun sticking all the bows on him :)

We spent the rest of the day playing with our new toys and talking with all of our family. Even though it was just the 4 of us and we did miss our family, we had a nice day and loved getting see how happy our boys were!
