Lake Tahoe

We couldn't go to Reno without making a trip to Lake Tahoe. The drive was gorgeous as was the lake. The area was super crowded so finding parking was really hard. First we found a playground and picnic area so we stopped and ate lunch and let the boys run and play.

 

On our way out of town we found parking and were able to get out. The boys loved throwing rocks in the lake. Their was a family of ducks swimming around where we were too. So the boys started throwing leaves and grass into the lake instead to feed the ducks. Liam kept saying he was throwing lettuce into the water for them to eat. Got to see some ducklings too :)

books, cookies and smores

The boys helped grandma a little with making peanut butter cookies. We were going to have smores but it was too windy for fire so instead we made smores inside using peanut butter cookies instead of graham crackers. I may have to make this a permanent change because chocolate and marshmallow between two homemade peanut butter cookies was SOOOOO good!!!

Daniel and Liam read a lot of books with grandma :)

The boys had so much fun on the trip!

Hike

After breakfast we went for a little hike with grandma. Before we left the boys wanted to leave teddy and puppy with a babysitter.

It was fun to explore behind grandma and grandpa's house.
