Our first Santa visit was at the library. Once it was our turn Dan ran up to Santa, arms open wide, and gave him a huge hug. Santa even said "wow a real hug!" It was so sweet. Dan just climbed up into his lap and hugged Santa again and started talking to him. He told Santa he wants a choo-choo bike (a Thomas the Train bike) and a Pooh. He's been rehearsing what to tell Santa for weeks. He was so excited to finally tell him.
Liam was a little more apprehensive. At first I didn't think he was going to sit on Santa's lap. He climbed up though and was fine as long as we were right there. He didn't cry but he wasn't as smiley as usual.
Liam wouldn't stay for long but I was able to get one group shot.
Our second visit was at our ward party but the boys were so hyped up on sugar that they didn't really want to pose for pictures. Our last visit to Santa was at our apartment complex party. Once again Daniel was super excited to see Santa. He gave him a hug anytime no one was with him and as we were leaving he was blowing kisses to Santa. Liam was happy to go see Santa only after he had eaten his dinner. I tried to do it before they ate but he was not having it. I guess everything is more fun with a full tummy.
To say that Daniel loves Santa and is excited for him to come would be an understatement and Liam is happy to see Santa but he's also alright to just observe from a distance.
