Story time

Daniel and Liam both love reading books and since grandma and papa have been here they spend lots of time reading books together.

Children's Museum

We went to the children' museum in Portland with grandma and papa. The boys had a great time! I loved that it was really just a big play place. The boys loved the firetruck and the ball pit the most. Daniel was really good at going down the fireman's pole and surprised me with how strong he was. Liam loved doing it too but with some help :)

They had fun exploring the boats, the race cars and the farm stuff too. The boys practiced putting oil in the car too :) Hopefully they'll remember how to do it when they're older.

Strawberry picking

The boys got to experience another first! We took them strawberry picking with grandma and papa. We found a farm nearby and the boys loved it! Daniel had so much fun trying to find the reddest strawberries. Liam worked with grandma and they found some pretty big ones. I can't wait to go back and get more! Hopefully we'll get to go raspberry picking and blueberry picking too :)

Bowdoin College

We took the boys over to explore Bowdoin College in Brunswick a few weeks ago and we all loved it. The campus is beautiful and the boys loved being able to just run around. That is until when we were on our way back to the car and Daniel was running and fell. Now he likes to point to his scar on his elbow and tell people that he got it because he was going too fast. We went to the Arctic museum too which was cool but the boys were a bit too excited for us to really stay and look around.

Park Time

We love going to the park! The boys have so much fun and Daniel is getting so brave. He climbs everything and wants to try anything they have even when I sometimes think he's too little. Liam is getting braver too. He used to never go down slides or want to climb anything but now he just wants to be like his brother :)

Fathers Day

We had a nice Father's Day this year. My parents came on Fathers day to start their visit so I got to spend the day with my dad too. The morning was just the 4 of us though. I made Mike his traditional breakfast of German pancakes. It was super yummy! The boys gave daddy his presents too! Daniel helped pick treats for daddies secret stache and they loved showing him that they are monsters!

After church we had a yummy lunch and some tasty treats while we waited for my parents to come. After nap time and after visiting with them for a bit we went for a walk by the river and across the swinging bridge.

We had a fun day but I just love making the day special for Mike. Daniel and Liam love their daddy! You're a wonderful daddy Mike! You take such great care of us and I couldn't raise these kids without you! We love you!
