President Nelson

At the beginning of April we had general conference. This conference was special because we had the opportunity to sustain a new prophet.

Russell M. Nelson was called as the 17th prophet for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

 I was a little worried I would be sad at this conference but seeing President Nelson with President Oaks and President Eyring just felt right. As soon as I saw them the spirit confirmed to me that Russell M. Nelson is the prophet. He was called by God to direct the Lord's church at this time. I am grateful that I had the opportunity to stand and sustain him as the prophet but that I could also sustain his counselors and the quorum of the 12 apostles.

I'm so grateful for the blessing of having a living prophet on the earth today.
