Big 3-0!

Well I'm 30 now and to be honest it doesn't feel terribly different. The last decade was a busy 10 years... marriage, 2 kids, graduating from college, we moved 7 times and lots of trips and visiting exciting new places. I liked my 20's but I also think I'm ready to see what the next 10 years bring.

(Although the thought that when I turn 40 I will have a 16 and 14 year old terrifies me so we just won't think about that....)

Liam and I took our picture together and he had fun reminding me that it was his birthday too. I didn't mind though... its nice to focus on him and I still got spoiled :) I love my little birthday buddy!

Anyway, my 30th birthday was fun. We went to Bryce Canyon to celebrate the weekend before but the day was pretty simple. We played games, we went shopping a little and just spent the day relaxing. I got a chocolate chip and a strawberry Nothing Bundt cake to celebrate and got to open my presents after we celebrated Liam :)

Lots of great presents this year but the digital camera may have won... thank you Mike :) Also, you would think I already know enough about Harry Potter that I wouldn't like these books but I'm still learning new stuff :)

Thank you to everyone for helping make my 30th special. It was a great birthday and I think I'm ready for my 30's now...lets hope they're even better than my 20's :)
