Family staycation

 We had a little family get away to the strip at the beginning of May. It was a fun couple of days. We stayed on the strip at ParkMGM and just relaxed a bit. We discovered the tram that runs from Park to Bellagio and we rode it a lot. Liam didn't care for it and insisted that he sit on my lap with my arms around him like a seatbelt. 

The boys got to see the Bellagio spring display which they liked. We also walked the strip from Bellagio to the Forum at Caesar's. It was a lot for the boys but they did great. 

It was hot the days we were there so I let the boys play in the fountains outside of New York New York. They loved getting wet and dried super fast in the heat. 

We took a nice family walk around the temple too. The boys wanted to collect leaves to help clean the temple. 

I took the boys to the m&m store the next day. Then we went to Crystals to see the water tornados. We ate lunch outside and played in the water more. We also took the boys inside Luxor and Excaliber for the first time which they thought was pretty cool. 

End of 1st grade

 Daniel is officially a second grader! May 26, 2021 was his last day of first grade. He had a great year and has learned so much! He has become an awesome reader! He really loves learning about everything. This year started off virtually but he got to be in the classroom in October 5 days a week for half the day. He had two great teachers, Ms. Totten and Ms. Dunn and he made new friends. 

They had an awards ceremony during the last couple days. Daniel got an award for A honor roll in the first semester, A/B honor roll in the second semester and he also got a special award for showing service in the classroom. He showed this attribute which is one of the attributes that signature prep teaches the students to have. We're so proud of him!

Dolly

 We have a very cute little terrier who lives next door to us. She is the sweetest dog and Liam just loves her to pieces. Both of the boys pet her anytime they see her. We used to affectionately call her Toto before we knew her name but sometimes the boys still do. Her name is Dolly and we love her!
