At the end of April we planned a surprise trip to the San Diego Zoo. We got the boys up super early and they had no idea where we were going. They didn't find out until we got there and when they saw it was the zoo they were super excited!
The zoo is huge. We were there for about 6 hours which was longer than I expected the kids to last. We saw lots of fun animals. Daniel's favorite animal was the meekat, Liam's was the elephant, I loved the penguins and Mike liked the bears.

We had a good time at the zoo. The drive home was long and we were happy to be home. We'll have to go back again.
