Well, we've made it to the last day of our trip. It was the best day and the warmest day. The best part was no trips to the hospital! We stayed until they kicked us out ;)
Our first ride of the day was Snow White which they had changed since we were last in Disney. It was much happier, and I really liked it. We were also the only people on the ride. Next we rode Pinocchio which was my least favorite in the park. Then we rode Dumbo
We had to ride Indiana Jones again which we did before the line got too long. I enjoyed it more than the first time because I wasn't feeling nauseous at all and I got to drive the Jeep!
Next we walked through New Orleans Square, ran into Jack Sparrow and got in line for Haunted Mansion. The line for haunted mansion was 50 minutes but luckily, we had some entertainment. We were standing behind Joey Lawrence and his family. So, we talked while we waited and then after the ride he was nice enough to take a picture with me and give me a hug. He's a nice guy :) oh the ride was fun too.
We also spent some time just enjoying the atmosphere of the park. We walked and talked, took pictures by the tree and saw more characters.
Mike rode space mountain, the matterhorn and splash mountain by himself while I went and enjoyed some of my favorites again :)
All alone on the ride.... |
The best ride of the day came at night during the fireworks. We were on Big Thunder Mountain. It was awesome! All the lights were out so we were really riding it in the dark and with the fireworks explosions overhead it was so cool!
We rode Jungle Cruise which was fun as always and played around Toon Town. We also explored Galaxy's Edge and finally got to ride Peter Pan.
of Mike's favorite rides (and it was pretty cool) was Rise of the Resistance. It had been breaking down a lot so we kind of waited near it for it to be fixed and then jumped in line. Still 60 minutes of waiting in one of the dullest lines in the park but it was worth it.
We enjoyed the park at night again. Disneyland really is beautiful at night during Christmas!
We also rode haunted mansion at night. We made sure we rode astro orbiter again at night and we did some shopping. We also got to see small world light up and watch the procession for the candlelight processional.
We had so much fun on our trip. We felt like kids and even though we were tired, we didn't want to leave. I love that Mike and I got to spend this time just the two of us!
