It's amazing how much you've grown in a year Daniel! We love you and we can't wait to see how you change in the next year :)

Daniel turns ONE!!!

On May 30th my baby boy Daniel turned one! On Dan's birthday we were in Charleston visiting grandma, papa and uncle Josh. We're planning a party for him in June but we wanted to do a little something for him on his birthday. We decided on a dinosaur theme.

Daniel loves to play with balloons. So for his birthday morning we blew up a bunch of balloons for him to wake up to and play with. He was so excited when he saw them and he loved playing with them.

We spent our morning at the graduation but we got him a special outfit to wear and he looked so handsome. He was so good at the graduation, he even got a little nap which was amazing cause it was so loud in the coliseum.

Dan loves quesadillas so we had those for lunch and then he got a couple little presents from grandma and papa. He'll get his big present at his party and the presents from us but my mom wanted him to open something on his actual birthday. He got the First 100 words book and my mom also made 2 little books for him. One is an ABC book with the letters of the alphabet being paired up with a picture of daniel and the other is pictures and stuff about his first year. They are very cute :)

Happy Birthday Daniel! We love you!!!

Josh's Graduation

We had two big celebrations on May 30th this year. Daniel turned one which is awesome! Also, Joshua has graduated from high school! On May 30th Joshua graduated from Ashley Ridge High School.

It was a nice ceremony. The speeches weren't too long or too cheesy. Around 460 students graduated and Joshua was the 7th to the last one to get his diploma. It was so strange to see my baby brother graduating from high school. It was fun to sit there and remember when I was the one graduating in the same place 7 years ago. Congratulations little brother!!

After the ceremony we went outside to take some pictures. I felt so bad for the kids because it was so hot and I'm sure they were dying in those caps and gowns.

Sometimes you need snuggles when its hot and you're tired

We put Daniel on the ground and he didn't move...he still doesn't like to touch grass with his hands

Congratulations Josh!!
