Casinos

Going to tour casinos is a must when you come to Las Vegas. While Joshua was here we wanted him to see the gardens in the Bellagio and New York New York so he could ride the roller coaster. We also took another walk through Caesars Palace and saw the lamest "aquarium" ever. Honestly, its a fish tank. We did get to meet Caesar though :)

The Bellagio is super fancy and it has a big atrium full of flowers. They change the theme every few months. Right now the theme is Summer Under the Sea. It was really pretty and impressive to see. It was really pretty to see all the sea animals made out of different flowers.

We also went to New York New York. Its become one of my favorite casinos on the strip. Its really well done. Mike and Joshua rode the roller coaster they have and we also went to the M&M store and the Hershey store. Mike said the roller coaster was awesome but terrifying. I guess its a little shaky on the corners probably because its old.

The M&M store is nice but I think its a bit much. They have 4 floors and candy is just one floor. The store has lots of merchandise but when you start repeating merchandise on each floor, I think you can have a slightly smaller store.

The Hershey store was definitely more fun and had more candy that I like. The coolest part of the store were the two statues of liberty. One made of chocolate and one made of licorice.

Josh and Liam

My brother is here! I was so excited for him to come since I hadn't seen him in 6 months but I was even more excited for him to meet Liam!

Josh finally got to meet Liam at the end of his first full day in Vegas and actually did something he never did with Daniel. He fed him a bottle! I was surprised but he did a great job...I don't think Daniel will be too jealous ;)

And because I'm obsessed with my adorable baby.... a picture for your enjoyment!

Hoover Dam

One of the most impressive things to see here, I think, is the Hoover Dam. We waited for my brother to get here because we wanted him to see it too. It is really cool to see but I wouldn't go back at this time of year. It was so hot! We walked over the top of the dam and across the bridge. We were going to do a tour but the wait to go was ridiculous and we didn't want to wait around all day in the heat.

We also went to the turn off to Lake Mead. Its so sad how low the lake has gotten over the years but its still pretty. The white line is where the water used to be but its dropped that much in about 35 years.

night on the strip

I love going down to the strip! I also love taking other people down to the strip! Its so much fun to experience but I especially love going down there at night. Its crazy but I think its something everyone needs to experience. So while my parents were here we took them down there. It was a bit overwhelming but it was a lot of fun!

Our first stop was the volcano at the Mirage. Mike and I hadn't gone to see that yet but it was alright. We had to run through Caesars Palace to get there but I'm glad we made it. It was cool but I'm good with just seeing it once. It was pretty short...just three minutes. We could feel the flames really well so it made it extra hot.

After the volcano, we went to explore Caesars Palace. It is my favorite casino and its also huge! We only saw a piece of it but it is beautiful and I love the design of it!

We also went to go see the fountains at Bellagio. It was so pretty and I love that the show was 7 minutes long, definitely worth the hike through the casinos.
