Monte L. Bean Museum
My parents are here visiting and one of the places they wanted to take the boys was the bean museum at BYU. Daniel loved the museum! I think his favorite part was just that he could be so close to these huge life size stuffed animals, especially after seeing some of them at the zoo. Liam slept through a lot of it but he still had fun for the bit of time he was awake. We also went to BYU and Dan loved the statue of Cosmo. He was sitting on his lap and giving him hugs.

The Big 3!!
My baby is 3!!! Where does the time go!?!? Daniel has grown up so much in the past year.
- Daniel has started talking so much in the past year and its been wonderful to hear him talk and actually be able to have conversations with him!
- In the past few months he has become afraid of heights so sometimes if I set him on the counter or if someone throws him up in the air then he gets upset.
- Dan still loves being outside. He loves going for walks and also loves going on hikes. He runs and jumps and plays. One of his favorite things to do on walks is to jump on the covers for the water meters. He loves the park, especially the swings and he recently started being ok with going down slides again. I think that's because Liam started going down them and if Liam gets to do it then Daniel gets to do it too.
- Daniel loves to be outside but he is also a sweet and sensitive boy. Whenever we go on walks or hikes he loves to pick flowers and give them to me. He always gives hugs and kisses and I love that whenever I'm sad he runs to me and gives me a big hug.
- Daniel is my reader. He loves books and he really does listen when someone reads to him because if you try to skip he will stop you and ask you to go back and read it again.
- Daniel loves Thomas the Train. He gets to watch it before bed most nights but he would watch it way more if we let him. He got lots to Thomas toys for his birthday and he loves to go see trains.
- He still loves trucks and points them out in every book we read and loves to find them when we go out.
- Dan is a protective big brother. He tells me whenever he sees Liam in trouble or whenever he thinks Liam is in trouble but sometimes he is a little rough when he tries to 'help' his brother. He loves to go get him in the morning though and I love when they actually do play well together which is usually when I'm not in the room.
- He still loves his teddy and all teddy bears. We got his teddy all fixed because he has been loved over the past 2 years but Daniel loves his bears (just like his mommy)!
- Dan can definitely get upset though. Usually his outbursts involve Liam doing something that annoys Dan or Liam doing something that Dan doesn't think Liam can or should do. Sometimes Dan is great about sharing or trading toys but often I have to remind Dan that Liam can play now too so we're working on the sharing at home. Weirdly Dan is good at sharing with other kids and in nursery so I guess this issue could be worse.
- Dan also loves Winnie the Pooh! He loves reading the books and also loves playing with the stuffed winnie the pooh every time we go to the Disney store at the mall.

My baby boy is ONE!!!! I fell in love with you the moment I saw you. You're the sweetest boy in the world. I love your smile and just being with you makes me happy!
We surprised you in the morning by waking you up in a special way. Mommy and daddy came into your room singing "Happy Birthday" and we poured balloons over your head. You were surprised and confused at first but it quickly turned to excitement!

Run of Remembrance-Memorial Day
Over Memorial Day weekend, we ran the run of remembrance 5k. I ran the race and so did Mike. My parents were here so they walked with the boys. I felt great during the race. I hadn't been running for over a year and I was nervous so I was surprised that I was able to run and finish in 37 minutes.
We had a fun Memorial Day. We went to a BBQ with family in Lehi. It was fun to spend time with cousins and the boys had fun playing outside with cousins.
