Ward party

Our ward did a trunk or treat and Halloween party the Friday before Halloween. Mike had to work but I took the boys. They did great trick or treating. Both of them were great about saying thank you and Daniel just about had 'trick or treat' down but they both also decided that "take one" means one handful...so we got a lot of candy.

Daniel had fun playing games that the young women had set up and thankfully I was able to leave Dan with a friend. Daniel being the ever concerned older brother missed Liam during the games though. He kept asking where he was and as soon as we got through the rooms he ran back to the gym, found Liam and gave him a hug (sometimes they do love each other).

They also had the game where you eat a donut off a string without your hands and Daniel wanted to do it. It was hilarious to watch a bunch of little 3 and 4 year olds do this! They were pretty good at it too :) Daniel got about halfway through his donut when he got tired and we told him to just grab it.

The boys had a great time but were exhausted by the end of the night.

Trick or Treat

We went to 2 parties on Halloween this year. Our apartment complex put on a party with games and pizza and of course candy. It was fun but Liam was a bit freaked out by everything.

Since we live in an apartment complex we don't do traditional trick or treating but on Halloween we did go to BYU for a trunk or treat that was put on by the sports departments. It was huge! The boys got so much candy and both actually did great staying with us. Dan was the hit of our family- everyone loved his Pooh costume especially his big belly :) We even got a picture with Cosmo!

The best part of the night was Liam. He's a boy after my own heart. He got to hold his candy bucket while we walked and as we were leaving I looked down and he had a Kit Kat in his hand and was eating it! He had eaten through the wrapper and was devouring the chocolate! Crazy kid but I couldn't be upset I mean who could resist chocolate on Halloween :)

Work party

They had a Halloween themed patient appreciation day at mike's office and the boys and I were lucky to be able to go. The best part was getting to spend some time with Mike on a day he would be at work. Its a rare treat to get to see him on Saturday. We had fun at the party too. The food was yummy and Daniel LOVED the bounce house and slide. He was on it almost the whole time we were there until he bounced off and hit his head getting off the slide :(

Liam had a great time playing with the balloons and I won the top prize of the day! They had balloons with numbers inside that corresponded with prizes after doing certain things around the office and I actually picked the top prize which was a gift card to Scheel's (seriously I never win anything) which I was excited about.

We were having so much fun that I didn't even put the boys in their costumes and I didn't get many pictures we had a great time!

The boys each got a balloon to take home but on the way home I opened the back window of the car and Daniels balloon just blew out the window. He was so upset but luckily daddy was able to bring home a new balloon for him. I really felt bad about that one but it was also kind of funny.

fun at the mall

We love going to the mall and playing on the play ground that's inside and we always stop by and say hello to Winnie the Pooh when we go :)

These boys could go down the slides all day long. I was so proud of Dan though cause he finally went down the big tunnel slide and now its all he wants to do.

Fun at the park

They're is a great park in Orem that I love taking the boys to. It has a little kid section and an older kid section. We've gotten lucky with some beautiful days lately and also lucky cause the park hasn't been too busy.

Cause they're cute

Sometimes my boys are just too cute to not take a picture :)
