Happy Halloween

We had an interesting halloween this year. We were in the process of moving so I wasn't sure how much we would get to do. Our moving date changed so were got to be in Vegas for the holiday and grandma Kate made Daniel's ghost costume and we ended up having to buy one for Liam because his was in a box inside the moving pod which didn't come in time for our ward trunk or treat.

For the last 4 months or so Daniel has been asking to be a ghost for Halloween. After watching Scooby Doo where are you? and seeing the ghost he wanted to be one. So we made that come true and grandma made him a costume that was inspired by the one my mom made for me when I was little. He loved his costume! He was a little hesitant to wear the hood at first until we explained that he would get candy if he did...he was much more willing after that!

Liam was going to be a dinosaur but we ended up finding a vampire costume for him to wear. He was the cutest vampire!

We had our ward trunk or treat the week before Halloween. The boys were the hit of the night and they loved going trick or treating. We had dinner and played games before going trick or treating. They had a ring toss game that both boys played and both of them got a ring over a soda can and Liam did it twice! It was so cute to hear them say trunk or treat and then we had fun looking at their haul when we got home.

On Halloween we had more fun! We got some treats at our apartment complex and then Mike and Uncle Doug took the boys trick or treating in their neighborhood. The cutest thing that happened after the boys went trick or treating was watching them with their candy. When they got home Liam was very interested in his candy and was eating a lollipop and when Mike went through his candy Liam turned around and said very loudly "Where is my Kit Kat?" He loves kit Kats!

bedtime

Two of the first things we did when we moved into our new home was to set up the boys beds. Daniel was super excited for his bed and Liam seemed happy that we turned his crib into a toddler bed. Our first 2 nights the boys were just fine in their rooms. On the third night both boys were scared of their rooms. They struggled to get to sleep. For the last week or so Liam has been sleeping in his pack n play at night. We just move him to his bed when we go to bed....silly boy :)

Daniel has been having trouble with his room too and he is also scared of the dark. So we got him a night light but he still didn't want to be in his room. We set up Dan's circus tent in his room next to his bed and ever since we set it up Daniel has been sleeping in it. He took 5 pillows in and made a little nest with pillows and his blankets and a few animal friends.... oh and teddy of course! I think its cute and I'm just happy he's sleeping better now!

Bellagio

We took the boys to see the Fall display at Bellagio. It was a very pretty display and the boys were in awe of everything. They especially loved all the flowers and we spent the majority of the time there telling Dan that he couldn't pick the flowers. Liam could've sat and watched the fountains all day :)

We were lucky to get together with some friends here in Vegas. We met them when we lived in Spartanburg. They have 2 little girls who are very cute and sweet. Reagan is almost a year younger than Dan and Dan was very excited to play with his friend Reagan. For a few days after going to their house Daniel kept asking when we were going back to Reagan's and saying that he loved Reagan. Its very cute!

It was fun to see Bri and Craig again too and play Harry Potter Clue :)

Back in Vegas

We had some issues when we got Vegas finding a place to live and getting our stuff here. After 2 weeks we finally had an apartment and our stuff! I am so grateful that we could stay with Stacey and Doug but its so nice being in our own place!

The boys quickly learned that being in Vegas meant we could go to the park! For the first 2 weeks we went to a different playground every day! We've loved the warmth and the constant sunshine!

We took the boys to go see puppies one night. Their is a pet store here that has little rooms you can go in and play with a puppy. We got 2 puppies and Liam was in heaven! Mike and I were pretty happy too and if these little guys weren't so expensive we may have taken them home with us!

We also had fun spending time with Doug and Stacey. The boys have loved the attention and Liam has a new favorite person- his Uncle Doug.

Eppersons are moving again

Well Maine it's been fun....

We've been in Maine for the last 9 (almost 10) months and at the beginning of September we made the decision to leave. Their were various personal and professional reasons for the move but we felt that it would be best for our family if we started anew somewhere else. Mike looked for a new job and found one in Las Vegas.

So its back to the desert for us! I miss the mountains so I'm excited to be back around them again. We've been telling the kids for a few weeks about Vegas and now they keep asking when we're leaving. The other day the boys were asking where their toys were going and we told them we were packing them and they would get them back in Vegas. So Liam said he wanted to go to Vegas and started to put his shoes on haha

We're excited for this new adventure for our family. One of the biggest reasons we decided to change jobs was because Mike realized he didn't want to be the boss. He is a wonderful chiropractor and he loves helping people and this new job will allow him to be a wonderful chiropractor and help people and build relationships without having the stress of running a business.

I'm excited for all the fun things the boys and I will get to do and no snow!! I definitely won't miss Maine winters! Hopefully we can stay in Vegas and really be able to get settled there.
