Spring break day 2

Puppies, banana bread and the library! That sums up our second day of break. Liam loves playing at the library and Dan loves picking out books. I do think Liam enjoyed having his brother there with him for a change.

The boys love going to Petland. They get to see lots of puppies and this time we played with 3 different puppies.

I wanted to take this guy home 

The boys also got to help make chocolate chip banana bread!

Spring break day 1

I was a little worried about having Dan home from school for a week because he likes to be busy so I tried to keep us busy.

Our first day of spring break involved the play ground, play doh and running around in our Halloween costumes. We had the playground all to ourselves!

Daniel never gets to play with play doh and he had so much fun with it!

After naps we got out some of our Easter stuff and the Halloween costumes are in the same box and the boys decided they wanted to dress up. Liam wanted to be a dinosaur so he could be scary and scare Pooh bear. Then Daniel put half of the dinosaur costume on (enough to have a tail) and Liam dressed as Scooby doo so he could have a tail too. They had so much fun chasing each other around to catch each others tails.

Easter bunny

We started our spring break with a visit to the Easter bunny. The boys have beens so excited for Easter this year and counting down the days. They were super excited to go visit the Easter bunny!! I was a little worried that they would freak out like they did last year but they were giving high fives and hugging the bunny.

general conference

We love general conference and this time we were looking for a way to get the boys more interested. The week before the conference we talked about President Nelson and the apostles. Liam calls the apostles the 12 papas and Daniel can't say president nelson so he says papa nelson. Its super cute and sweet.

We decided to put up our tent in the living room so we could sit in the tent and watch conference. Liam was super excited and kept asking when the prophet would talk. They did surprisingly well. They had books, a few little toys and drew pictures during both of the Saturday sessions.

On Sunday they did alright in the morning but for the afternoon we were at Katie and Jared's. We had a really nice conference and loved so many of the messages given.

Crumbl cookies

We wanted to get out of the house between general conference sessions so we decided to try a new cookie place and also take the boys to the park.

Crumbl cookies are so good! We each got one to try and they were so gooey and warm and yummy! We got a reeces chocolate, oatmeal chocolate chip, Carmel cheesecake and chocolate chip! I couldn't pick a favorite because they were all so good!

We tried out a new park too!

Annie birthday

We spent the Sunday afternoon session of general conference with kaytie and jared. It was their daughter Annie's 10th birthday and I offered to make the birthday cake. I love baking and I love ay excuse to make goodies and share them with others! It was a confetti cake and it was soooo yummy! We all loved it!

Oh and the boys loved being able to play outside. They had so much fun and we got a fun surprise...Liam decided he likes jumping on a trampoline. Who knew?
