ice cream, toys and bike rides

Daniel wanted to learn to ride a bike with grandma and papa. He was super excited to go out riding with them. After a few bike rides Dan is getting a lot more confident. On our first ride Dan could peddle but he wasn't looking up at all. After riding for a while though he was more confident especially when he realized he could go faster if he was looking where he was going. Now he tells me that he is going to look up whenever we're going for a bike ride.

We took my mom and dad to Handel's ice cream! It was so yummy! We got the boys strawberry again but I think they really liked trying my dads mango ice cream.

We had so much fun going to the park with grandma and papa. Daniel really liked being pushed on the swings by papa.

The boys had lots of fun playing with papa, especially blocks. They also did some art projects with grandma but most of those were when mike and I got to go out on dates! Just wish I'd taken more pictures of just the fun play times they had but trust me they had lots of fun.

bellagio

We got to take a trip over to the bellagio and got to go to Italy! I'm always amazed at these displays they do and that they're different every year and every season. I can't wait to see the Christmas one again!

Its always so beautiful and so impressive. Seriously....Liam is a little heartbreaker.

joshua trees

We took a drive out to Calico Canyon and found some joshua trees. Too bad it was too hot to do much hiking.

grandparent pictures

We got to take some pictures of my parents with the boys during their visit. We went to one of our favorite trails to do the pictures. The boys weren't as cooperative as they usually are during pictures but I think we still got some good ones. These boys will definitely miss them!

Real Disney Princess

I love Beauty and the Beast and Belle is my favorite Disney princess! For my birthday mike got me a painting of belle and the beast. The painting is done by Paige o Hara, the voice of Belle. We found out that she was going to be at the gallery in Caesars Palace doing a signing and unveiling new work.

I was so excited that I was going to meet her! I didn't get nervous until I was waiting in line. I couldn't even talk initially and she immediately took my hand and said hello and that she was happy to meet me. I was immediately relaxed and suddenly felt like I could speak again. I introduced myself and she told me I had a beautiful name. She is seriously one of the nicest people I've ever met and made me feel like I was the only person there to see her. This was truly a special experience and I loved every minute of it! Belle is my favorite princess and I still connect to that character in a lot of ways so this was amazing for me! My inner five year old was so happy and my 29 year old self was pretty happy too!

I got to meet a real life Disney princess!
