Gingerbread house

 This year we started a new tradition with gingerbread houses. Instead of getting a kit we each made a little house out of graham crackers. The boys had lots of fun decorating with lots of yummy candy. Lots of fun and super yummy too!

the best part

 Last weekend Daniel helped me make banana bread. He did a great job helping and when we got to the end he asked to lick the spoon. He told me licking the spoon was the best part of helping :)

Christmas decorations

 We put up our christmas tree early this year. We need as much joy as we can get!

 The boys (especially Liam) have been really into art lately. They made some turkeys for Thanksgiving and Liam turned his into Pooh Bear.

On Black Friday we went to Aunt Staceys and the boys got to help decorate her tree and a little tree. They also got to spend some time with grandma kate and papa j. 

Happy Thanksgiving

We had a nice quiet Thanksgiving this year, just the 4 of us. Mike did most of the cooking and everything was amazing- especially the duck!

We had a yummy apple monkey bread for breakfast!

The boys were so excited when we finally ate dinner at 5. Daniel ate so much food! Everything was so good. After dinner we started our Christmas celebrations by watching a Goofy Christmas together.

 Even in this crazy year, we have so much to be grateful for. We spent a lot of time listing our blessings and the boys had no trouble thinking of things they are thankful for. We just need to count our blessings more than we count our problems.
