second christmas

We kind of got to have 2 christmas's this year. The day after Christmas the rest of Mike's family came and so we got presents from grandma and grandpa and we also got to do sibling presents together for the first time in forever.

After Christmas we were lucky enough to have all the Eppersons here for a few days. The boys absolutely loved having their cousins to play with and it was great to see Tony and Debbie too. We even got some family pictures which turned out great even if we did have to bride dan and liam a little with cookies :)

hikes and new toys

We've started 2020 by playing with all of our new toys, reading lots of new books and going on some hikes. For Daniel's last free weekend we went on a little hike. Daniel had a lot of fun finding the biggest rocks and Liam enjoyed some of it. It wasn't a ton of fun to carry him crying down the mountain though (he was crying because he wanted to go home).

For Christmas Dan got a new scooter and he's been having fun learning to ride it. He's doing pretty well but still falls down when he tries to put both feet up. Mike and I like riding it too :)

Daniel got lots of fun toys for Christmas. He got some new lego sets and he and Mike have been having fun building them together and playing with them. He also got a stem toy that lets him use straws to build things. He has been loving it and is getting better at doing it without anyone's help but he still really likes to do it with us, especially with daddy.

Sunbeams

My baby had his first day in sunbeams on January 5! I can't believe Liam is in primary now! I was nervous about his first day but he is so excited and ready to be with the big kids. He walked right in, sat next to his friend Simon and when I said I was leaving he just looked at me and said "bye".

Girls Night

While everyone was in town the girls got a chance to go out for a night! We went out for a yummy dinner at Rachel's Kitchen and I had my first smoothie. It was peanut butter super yummy! Then we went out exploring the strip. We went to see the Christmas decorations at Bellagio and I took them to the Disney art store at Caesars. On our way back to the car we saw the fountains at Bellagio which never disappoint!
