Anniversary Staycation 2

 After the Titanic museum we went to Zupa's for lunch :)

After lunch we went to our hotel. We were up on the 8th floor and had a view of the pool which no one was using because it was still cold. The room was very nice though. We loved the color and decided to copy it in our room someday. The hotel is awesome too! First of all, no smoking allowed! It was so nice to be able to explore and not smell smoke. We had another first- digital room keys and elevator keys. Mike had an app on his phone with the key which you had to use to operate the elevator and to get into your room. It was a little annoying mainly because sometimes the app wouldn't open. The hotel was really nice though!

Once we were checked in we went across the street to the arsenal for the Vegas Knights and Mike bought a nice hat. 

Then we visited the Hershey store in New York New York and got some sweet treats. We love the design of this casino but it is my least favorite because it always seems like they are pumping cigarette smoke out of it. We could smell it just walking by the casino. Luckily the Hershey store just smells like chocolate!

After we ate we explored the hotel a bit and relaxed in our room. Then we got ready for dinner at Planet Hollywood in Caesars Palace. 

After dinner we walked around Caesars and then walked the strip at night which is always fun and interesting. We went to the Mirage and watched the volcano show on our way back to the Venetian where we had parked. 

It was a great first day of our trip! We had a lot of fun. My favorite part was the Titanic museum and Mike's was seeing the Bellagio.

Anniversary Staycation 3

 Friday morning we woke up a little after 8am which for us is sleeping in. It was so nice to just be able to wake up on our own. We had no idea what time it was because we couldn't see any light through the black out shades in the room and in true Las Vegas style the room did not have a clock. It was so nice though!

We got breakfast downstairs in Eataly which is a restaurant area and shopping area in the casino. It was very nice and the food was great but it was a bit pricey. After breakfast we headed to Mandalay Bay and went to the Shark Reef Aquarium. We had never been here before. It was fun and we love aquariums and zoos but this one was a bit small for the price. Still cool to see though.

Then we went to the Disney Store and bought some shirts and presents for the boys while we tried not to buy everything in sight. Then we also took a trip to Target and did some shopping for Easter before we had lunch back at Eataly. 

I spent the afternoon at the Salon and Spa for a little pampering. I got a massage which felt so good and I also got a haircut. It was awesome and my stylist was the best! I didn't want my time there to end!

After my pampering we watched one of our favorite movies- Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day and then we went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner. It was so yummy. I had a chicken parmesan sandwich that was perfect and mike got the trio of pasta which he said was great! We also got cheesecake for dessert to eat back at the hotel. 

Another awesome day spent with Mike! We're chained together birds! (watch Rio if you want to get the reference :)
