Cousins

While we were in Utah we decided to visit my cousin Chad, his wife Amanda and their kids. The boys had so much fun playing with cousins and Mike and I had fun catching up with Chad and Amanda.

At the end of January, the boys celebrated the milestone of being in school for 100 days which for Liam is really just 100 days. Liam got to make a fun shirt and he decided on 100 balloons like in Up. Then he got to be an old man on Friday. He didn't want to dress up when he woke up that morning but at the last moment before we had to leave, he changed his mind, so we quickly changed his clothes, but I didn't have time to do his hair. Luckily his teacher had grey hair spray and texted me to see if he could have some, so he did have gray hair at school.

Out of Africa Wildlife Park

This weekend we went to the out of Africa wildlife park in Arizona. It was so much fun! We started with a safari bus ride around the African savannah section of the park. We got to feed giraffes who came right up to the windows of the bus. They also followed the bus as went.... they called them land sharks because they stalked us looking for food Haha. Liam didn't want to give food to the giraffes, but he still had fun seeing them so close. The weather was perfect too and all the animals were out except for the bears who were hibernating.

During the safari tour we saw lots of other fun animals too. It was so cool to see them up close and be almost close enough to touch.

After the safari ride, we got to walk the park and see all the other animals. We saw lemurs, snakes, lizards, birds, capybara, wolves, lions and tigers. I have never been so close to a tiger and majestic is the only word to describe them. It was amazing to be so close to all of these beautiful animals.
