We went down to Charleston again this year and spent it with my parents and my brother. We had a lot of fun playing games, watching football, going running in the park together, shopping and of course eating way too much food.
My favorite part of Thanksgiving is spending time with family and thinking about what I am most grateful for. This year Daniel is definitely what I am most grateful for. I love my two boys! I am so grateful for my wondering husband who takes such great care of Daniel and I and is one of the most selfless people I know. I'm grateful that he such a wondering dad to our little guy and he loves spending time with Daniel. I love seeing the two of them together! I'm grateful to my husband for helping to make sure I get to go to the gym everyday and for being so patient with me. I love you sweetie!
I am also very grateful for my sweet Daniel. I still can't completely believe that he is my son and I really can't believe how fast he is growing. I love watching him learn and grow and do new things. He has such a sweet smile and spirit and it is impossible to be sad around him. He hasn't failed to cheer me up and put a smile on my face. I love his laugh and seeing his little personality coming through. I'm very grateful that Heavenly Father blessed me with his best little boy and that I get to be his mom.
We had a lot of fun with family. It's always fun to see Daniel with his grandma and papa and uncle josh.
Mike's family has a Thanksgiving tradition of a Huff and Puff before you stuff. Mike and I went out first and went for a little run on our own and then we all went out together for a nice walk. Its one of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving and helps me to justify all the yummy pie I eat later that day :)
So I am not a big fan of turkey. I really prefer ham but the food was all really good this year. Also, we have never made homemade rolls for Thanksgiving but this year we decided to be brave and make them and they were amazing!
Of course we can't have Thanksgiving without pie :)
It was a great Thanksgiving this year! Daniel also started rolling over in both directions during Thanksgiving so that was pretty exciting. We have lots and lots to be grateful for and its great to have this time of year to remember all that my Heavenly Father has given me :)
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!
