Rexburg part 1

Around the 4th of July Mike got 5 days off from work so we decided to go to Rexburg. This was our first trip as a family of four. We got out early and Dan being our little traveler was excited especially since he got to bring Teddy.

We were just going to Pocatello on the first day so we made some stops. Our first stop was the Hill Air force base museum. Unfortunately the museum was closed because the power went out so we just walked around outside. It was a beautiful morning. Mike loves telling me about all the planes. Daniel thought they were so cool to see and wanted to ride them. Liam had fun walking around and was making all the other tourists stuck outside smile.

After the museum we went up to Logan. We stopped to see the Tabernacle first. The building was beautiful and the organ was playing and it was so pretty to hear. They had a baptismal font in the basement and Daniel loved it, he thought it was a pool.

After the tabernacle we decided to walk to the temple. The Logan temple is the definition of a temple being built as a light on a hill. It was quite the hike up to it but it was beautiful and worth the walk. It looks like a real castle. The boys loved rolling down the hill too. Daniel was running up and down and Liam loved trying to copy his brother.

We stayed with one of Mike's old friends in Pocatello. It was fun hanging out with Ryan and Andrea. The boys were so good and slept so well even though the air conditioning was out in the house. We were all comfortable though. We talked and ate pizza until late and in the morning we went to a fun park and walked around. Daniel had fun throwing rocks in the water and climbing trees.

We also stopped to see Utah State University
