We had a great time in Rexburg! Our first stop was the temple! The boys
In Rexburg, we stayed with our friends Chris and Melissa. They have an adorable little girl named Audrey but since she isn't mobile yet the boys had a lot of fun playing with their very mobile dog Rocket. Daniel and Rocket didn't get off to a great start and for the first day or so Daniel would only look at Rocket from the safety of the couch. He always wanted to know where the puppy was but he didn't want Rocket anywhere near him. After a while he warmed up to him and by the end of the trip Daniel wanted Rocket to come home with us. Daniel loved that Rocket sat by him while he ate and he loved going for walks with him. For Liam it was love at first sight. Liam loved chasing Rocket and he loved being chased. He played fetch with him and would try to catch him. Unfortunately I think Rocket was more scared of the boys than they were of him. I really hope that Rocket doesn't starve now that the boys are gone haha

I think Mike wants a puppy |

Daniel spent a lot of time the first day reading books and hiding :) |
We got to Rexburg on Sunday and our first stop was to go by all the places we lived when we were in school. The first stop was The Village. We lived in two apartments here after we got married.
our first apartment...third floor on the left |
our second apartment...first floor on the right |
I miss having a backyard |
We also stopped by the places we lived when we were single. Rexburg has changed in 5 years.....
Hill crest is still there |
Both Perkins and Kerr Hall are gone. It wouldn't be so sad if it wasn't the first place I lived and where we had our first kiss. |
Mike's apartment is a parking lot too :( |
We spent the evening on Sunday at the nature preserve. We just expected to walk around but we found ducks and the boys were so excited. The ducks are so used to people that they were right next to us which the boys thought was awesome! We also saw a black bunny and Daniel couldn't stop talking about it.

Make a wish Daniel :) |
