We had some adventures before we even left camp though. We had decided to do boiler bags for breakfast but we found out we didn't have any more gas to run our stove so we decided to use the stove at the KOA. It was a horrible stove though and took forever to get hot so making the eggs took a super long time. Luckily that gave us time to make lunches and we also had oatmeal and muffins for anyone who didn't feel like waiting for eggs (me and Liam). I'm sure the eggs were good though :) We also got this cute picture of Daniel sitting with a bear in camp :)
After breakfast we went to the grand canyon of Yellowstone. We saw the lower falls first which is beautiful and the canyon is super impressive. We also found a fun trail through the woods on the side of the mountain that was way more fun than just walking along the road.
We also got to see the Upper Falls. Not as much hiking to get to them but they do have rocks by the viewing point which the boys had lots of fun climbing on.
Another goal we had Wednesday was to go to Yellowstone Lake. Along the way we saw more buffalo on the road and also made a stop at the Mud Volcano which turned out to be a pretty cool spot. The dragon's breath spring was the favorite of this stop and even sounded like a dragon was inside the cave!
