Summer trip- day 7: Rexburg to Utah

Friday morning we were up early to leave Jackson Hole. We made the decision to just get breakfast so we wouldn't have to take the time to cook and to just head back to Rexburg instead of going back to the Tetons. The drive back was nice and we spent the rest of Friday hanging around Rexburg and Idaho Falls for the most part.

First we went to Porter Park so the boys could play and we walked the nature preserve. They loved the nature preserve because got to see baby ducks and play pooh sticks! At the park, Liam was missing his puppy. It was sad to see him so sad. Dan had fun practicing on the monkey bars though.

Then we went to get frozen yogurt and chick fil a for lunch. We also went shopping and got some new shoes for Liam and shorts for dan for school. Dan loved the frozen yogurt! He had so much fun picking out all the flavors he wanted.

The day had an interesting ending. We were staying in another air bnb in Idaho Falls. We got there around 3:30 and found out that construction cones had been put in front of the entrance so we couldn't even park. Finally we just moved them so we could go check out the house. After Mike and I looked at it we decided we were not going to stay there. The house smelled, their was laundry in the washer and dryer (its not my job to do their laundry), the beds weren't made, the toilet was clogged in the only bathroom in the house and their were bowls of beans in the fridge that smelled like they'd been there awhile. So we decided to actually just drive the 2 1/2 hours to Ogden after going back to see BYU-Idaho one more time. Liam got to say goodbye to his school.

The drive down to Ogden wasn't bad and we got a nice hotel. We stayed at the Hampton Inn right in the center of the city. We got 2 rooms so we could split up the kids. Liam stayed with us and Dan stayed with grandma. It was a late night. We had a late dinner at Zupa's and Mike ran all over town trying to find quarters so we could so some laundry at the hotel. Once he finally found some, we had to stay up to do it. We were all very happy when we finally got to bed and slept so well!

Finally in bed around midnight

I asked Mike to braid my hair...I think he did a pretty good job
