The boys got an easel for dan's birthday and we have been doing a lot of painting lately.

Little shadow

Liam has been missing his brother since Dan started kindergarten. This has made him my little shadow for the past couple of weeks. We've been having lots of fun and I think Liam is also somewhat enjoying having one on one time :)

Happy Birthday Pooh!

We love Winnie the Pooh in our house and Pooh bear celebrated his 98th birthday on August 21! We had to have a birthday party! We made a honey cake and blew up balloons. We also watched Winnie the Pooh for our movie night. The cake was super yummy and the boys had so much fun helping to make it. Daniel had Tigger come to the party too.  I think we're going to have to make this an annual tradition :)

First day of school

My baby is in kindergarten! Daniel has been asking when school started since pre-k ended in May. He got a little nervous the week before school but his teacher meet and greet helped him get more excited again. He loved seeing his classroom and he was especially excited to find out his room was by the library.

Dan loves Toy Story so he got a Toy Story backpack and lunchbox from grandma and papa williams. We went shopping in Reno with grandma kate and papa J for new clothes. Dan picked out new red tennis shoes and got some cute outfits too.

He was so excited the night before school that he had trouble going to sleep and just kept saying that he needed to sleep so he could go to kindergarten. Dan loves banana bread- its one of his favorite things. So it made sense that he requested chocolate banana bread for breakfast on his first day of school.

Thankfully Dan is so used to taking pictures that he was happy to come out and take some pictures for me :)

 Grandma Kate was in town so we invited her to come and see Dan off on his first day. He was super excited!

Dan was so brave. He said goodbye and gave hugs and then walked right up to his teacher and got in his line. Liam was crying more than Dan but mostly cause he wanted a drink of water. The PTO did a special Boohoo/Yahoo breakfast for kindergarten parents after drop off. The food was tasty and it was such a cute thing to do.

We're looking forward to Daniel learning all kinds of new things and watching him grow over this next year :)

Before Kindergarten

We tried to have some fun the week before kindergarten. We took bike rides, went to the park, trips to the pool, ice cream and lots of playing!

On our last night before kindergarten we went over to Stacey's and had a smores night! Yum!!
