Daniel's Birthday

Daniel's birthday theme this year was trains, planes and cars. He wanted Winnie the Pooh but I couldn't find anything for a winnie the pooh birthday that wasn't for a baby. So we finally settled on this because I could find decorations and I think it ended up being pretty cute. Even the dinosaur that Mike put in the middle of the table was cute and Dan thought it was funny.

We had lots of balloons in the living room again for Dan when he woke up. His breakfast was easy because its been the same for the last 3 birthdays- donuts! Luckily donut shops are open.

After breakfast we took a trip over to target and then we went to aunt stacey's house. She had made a treat for all 3 of our birthdays and the boys got to play outside. We found the water guns dan got last year and the boys had so much fun having a water fight outside with daddy. The water fight ended up being the boys watering the plants and spraying bird poop off the house. They had fun though.

They got to play with Uncle Doug and have the yummy treats :)

After naps we had Daniel's yummy dinner. He wanted daddy to make him hamburgers so that's exactly what we did and he had applesauce too. He even got to watch a movie and he picked Paw Patrol.

Then it was time for presents. A couple weeks before his birthday Dan saw a big orange garbage truck at target and it was the only thing he actually asked for for his birthday. He kept telling us that the garbage truck was all he wanted and he didn't need anything else. Well Mike went to 5 targets and finally found it again after dan saw it the first time. When we brought his presents out we kept the truck back and as happy as he was with his presents, I think he was a little disappointed but he has enjoyed all of his presents in the days since his birthday :)

Nothing beat the garbage truck though!

It was hard getting him to leave the truck for cookie cake and ice cream.

Happy Birthday Daniel! We love you!
