cousins are so fun

We got a nice early Christmas surprise this year. My sister in law's brother was getting married in Payson so she asked if they could all come and stay for a night. I was so excited! We got to take care of the kids while Tony and Debbie went to the temple so that meant Daniel and Liam got some time with their cousins and I got to play the role of aunt Nicole which I don't often get to do :)

It was crazy with 6 extra people in the apartment but it was fun to have a big slumber party :) We put Dan and Liam in Liam's room so they could pick who went where. I love that Max opted to sleep on a big pillow bed on the floor instead of the couch. It was just so funny to watch him make the bed out of the couch cushions and I think Ryan liked that he had the couch all to himself :)

Liam and Daniel were surprised to find their cousins and aunt debbie and uncle tony here when they woke up. Jason was so excited to see Liam and once Liam realized who he was, they were inseparable. It was so sweet! We also realized that Max and Liam were twins!

Daniel had fun with his cousins too. He especially wanted to play with Evelyn. She liked playing with him too until Daniel started locking his door so she couldn't leave his room. I had to keep reminding him that he couldn't make her stay. They played well though and loved playing Candyland and Trouble.

While I played games with the little ones, Uncle Mike pulled out the Wii and Max and Ryan (mostly Max) had a lot of fun playing all kinds of games. They played Mario Kart and bowling and dog fighting. I couldn't even compete with cookies. They just wanted to play so I made the cookies myself but they all came back once the cookies were done ;)

I love that Ryan and Liam are almost making the same face :)

We got some good pictures of all the kids too :)

It was great having everyone here even if it was just for a night and half a day. Hopefully we can all get together again soon!
