Christmas 2015

This year was Daniel's second Christmas and we spent it in Las Vegas! Since we were moving this Christmas, I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to enjoy it as much. Thankfully though I have a husband who planned lots of fun activities and we are staying with Mike's mom and dad so we got to enjoy a beautiful Christmas tree and decorations so I don't feel like we missed out.

On Christmas Eve we watched the Grinch and also baked lots of cookies. We continued the tradition of leaving cookies for Santa. I'm happy that Daniel could take the traditional picture this year instead of me.

Christmas morning we actually slept in a little and just woke up a little before Daniel did. It was great! We woke up to find our stockings filled with goodies!

Santa came!!!

Once Daniel had a few minutes to wake up, he really loved opening his stocking! I think his favorite part were the oranges that Santa had put in the bottom. He loves fruit and he was hungry I guess because he took a bite out of each orange...peel and all! Crazy kid!

After we opened stockings we had the traditional Epperson family Christmas morning breakfast. We got to have yummy waffles with strawberries and ice cream!

After breakfast we had to wait for great grandma to come over before we could open presents. So while we waited, we read the Nativity. It was wonderful to read the story of the Savior's birth and to remember the reason we celebrate Christmas.

Once great grandma came over the present opening commenced! I was really excited for Daniel to get his presents. I was surprised when he had no desire to open anything. He helped to open a couple of my presents but then he was done. It made me kind of sad that he didn't want to open anything but he was very interested in his presents once they were open.

That night we facetimed with my family and with family in Washington. We also changed into our new pajamas that grandma kate made for our family. Don't we all look cute!

Merry Christmas!!!!
